The V.G. Baryakhtar Institute of Magnetism of the NAS of Ukraine respectfully and gratefully announces the receipt of scientific equipment – a Pulsed High Magnetic Field Measurement System– from our colleagues at the Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University (Sendai, Japan).
This event is of exceptional importance to our institution and opens new opportunities for advanced scientific research in the fields of magnetism and solid-state physics.
The administration and staff of the Institute of Magnetism express their sincere and profound gratitude to Professor Hiroyuki Nojiri and his team for their exceptional support, dedication, and hard work in developing and transferring this unique equipment. This noble gesture greatly contributes to supporting Ukrainian science and promoting international scientific cooperation.
We would also like to extend our special thanks to Dr. Anna Kosogor (Institute of Magnetism, Ukraine; University of Vienna, Austria) and Professor Rie Umetsu (Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan) for their valuable assistance in making this important initiative a reality for the Institute of Magnetism.
The Pulsed High Magnetic Field Measurement System enables investigations of magnetization, magnetoresistance, dielectric permittivity, and parameters of magnetocaloric effect in the temperature range of 77–350 K in pulsed magnetic fields of up to 20 T.
