The specialized academic council D 26.248.01 is operating at the V. G. Baryakhtar Institute of Magnetism of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The council considers dissertations for scientific degrees of Doctor of Science and Candidate of Science (equiv. to Ph.D) in Physics and Mathematics. 
Specialities of the council: 01.04.02 “Theoretical Physics”, 01.04.11 “Magnetics”.
