On June 17, students from the Professional College of Geological Survay Technologies of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv visited the Institute of Magnetism. During the visit, the students were introduced to the areas of scientific and practical activity at our institution, the team’s achievements, and the future prospects for the development of fundamental and applied research programs. The young generation was impressed by the achievements of our scientists, the availability of unique equipment, and novel experimental methods.
A particular highlight was learning about the scientific and pedagogical legacy of V.G. Baryakhtar, an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Honored Worker of Science and Technology, whose textbooks many of them used to study physics in school. The IMag administration wished their young colleagues continued success in their studies and in finding their own paths for future scientific and practical work.
